If you are unable to carry your papers and material in yourself or need assistance, please choose to attend a Tear Fest.

2) Empty your unwanted materials into one of our locked security bins at one of our drop off locations for shredding. If you would like to watch the material be shredded in front of you, feel free to join us at one of our Tear Fests.

3) If you are dropping your papers at one of our sites, please visit the counter to pay for your residential paper shredding services. The shredded material will be mixed together with thousands of pounds of paper, after which we will take it to our recycler.

One Time Purge Services

Documents ready for a Wiggins Shredding one time purge Our purge service is used for cleaning out large amounts of material all at one time, and are performed upon request rather than a regular schedule. All unwanted papers and sensitive documents are placed into bins that are used for feeding the paper shredder. The material is later destroyed using a pierce and tear method, whereby the pieces are mixed in with thousands of pounds of other shredded materials. Once everything has been properly destroyed, we will issue a Certificate of Destruction for your personal records. Click here to see a sample of a Certificate of Destruction.

The Shredding Process

State of the art Wiggins Shredding machine We perform all shredding bin services in our custom mobile shredding trucks. The process involves taking the papers to be shredded and placing them into our bins. The truck then lifts up the bins and dumps the paper inside into the shredder to be destroyed. You can even watch the actual shredding process via a video camera attached to the truck. The documents will be shredded by what is called a pierce and tear method. Once everything has been destroyed, we will issue a Certificate of Destruction for your own records. We will then take all of the material to our recycler afterward. The length of the whole process varies depending on the amount of material you have.
