Residential Shredding Service

Wiggins Shredding Truck outside a home with boxes of materials to be shred. Our residential shredding service is used for cleaning out personal and home office paperwork. All unwanted papers and sensitive documents are placed into bins used to feed our mobile paper shredder. The material is destroyed using a pierce and tear method, then the pieces are mixed in with thousands of pounds of other shredded materials, baled, and recycled. Once everything has been properly destroyed, we will issue a Certificate of Destruction for your personal records.

The Shredding Process

The shredding blades in the Wiggins Shredding shredderWe perform all shredding bin services in our custom mobile shredding trucks. The process involves taking the papers to be shredded and placing them into our bins. The truck then lifts up the bins and dumps the paper inside into the shredder to be destroyed. You can even watch the actual shredding process via a video camera attached to the truck. The documents will be shredded by what is called a pierce and tear method. Once everything has been destroyed, we will issue a Certificate of Destruction for your own records. We will then take all of the material to our recycler afterward. The length of the whole process varies depending on the amount of material you have.
